Chapter 5: Harley becomes a Toddler

Devin took the opportunity to get in some fishing before dawn.

Ella went back to their "Home" Lot and camped the night there, before Devin joined her at dawn.

For this challenge, their "Home Lot" is to be considered the same as any other empty lot in town.  They can go there day or night, and they cannot sleep there 2 nights in a row.

Ella gets up that afternoon to feed Harley.

New Discovery of the day.  When you place a sleeping infant in front of the tent door, anyone sleeping in the tent cannot leave the tent.  I had to get Ella to come back to pick him up again.

The couple have a Fish breakfast cooked over an open fire.

Both Ella and Devin went to the Feudal Fishing Spot.  

While there, they see the Royal couple.  She's getting along in her pregnancy.

And then, with lots of magical sparkles, Harley ages up into a Toddler.

Here's him after I used Master Controller to change him into period appropriate clothing.

Chapter 4: Raising an infant

When we left off, Ella just had her baby.  She leaves the hospital, and heads out of town again.

Devin is a very proud Papa.  He loves to take care of his son.

That night the household totals $2059.  Ella heads to the McCafferty's Pub to wash up.

They sleep the night there.

And they make use of the free crib.

Heading to the Feudal Fishing Spot.

It looks bad to have a baby lying on the ground in the rain, but in the digital Sims world, the child is unaffected by weather.

You'd think they'd bring the child into the tent with them, but not in the sims world.

After selling goods, the family now has $2403.

Even without a crib, leave a sims baby on the ground when they are tired, and they will eventually go to sleep.

The downside to having infants in the outlaw stage, once they fall asleep, someone must remain on the lot with them while they sleep.  Ella uses the time to boost her logic skill.

Devin takes the opportunity that night to do some grave robbing, and exploring in the catacombs.  He finds a book:  A Game of Thorns, worth $445 when sold at the local bookstore, which he did.

Chapter 3: Devin Arrested, Baby is born

On the evening of day 4, the couple go to the store to sell their items.  Now they have $1057.  They wash up at the McCafferty's Pub, then Ella heads back out to do some fishing.

Devin stays to play some chess, only he looses track of time.

At 6:00 am, Thursday morning Devin is arrested, and is sent directly to the dungeon tower.

His cell is small, but he'll have to make due.  He must stay in it until 6:00 am, Friday morning.

Ella, meanwhile, gathers a few items.  She finds a Moonstone worth $597, and befriends a cockatoo, worth $19.

 She then travels to an empty lot on the fringes of the world to camp out for the rest of the day.  The rainy weather reflecting her mood.

During his stay in the dungeon I constantly had Devin napping on the one bench.  He did manage to leave the cell once and try to bathe upstairs, in the discouraged nobleman's suite, but I simply canceled his action and sent him right back.  

That night, after dark, Ella visits the jail for her allotted hour long visit.  They chat about the day's events.  Unfortunately Ella doesn't have any spare food to give him.  He cannot cook fish in his little cell, and she couldn't find anything else edible.  I'm thinking of adding an exception to allow the family of outlaw prisoners to visit the prison earlier in the day, but for now, waiting until after dark sounds reasonable.

While leaving the dungeon I got a popup message, from the NRAAS Story Progression mod, saying that Queen Clarissa is pregnant too.  

Ella then headed to sell her finds for the day.  She now has $1859, a good amount since Devin was unable to make any money that day.

Later that night, Ella goes to the community garden to pick a few apples she can give her husband after she gets out of jail.  She cannot give them to him now because she already had her visit with him.

At 6:00 am the next morning Devin walks out of the prison, deciding never to go back there again.

He greedily eats the apple that his wife picked for him.

 After this, both of them headed over to Crios Pond.  Ella tried to nap while Devin fished.  Only Ella was not able to sleep for long, because she started going into labor.

After a while Ella was automatically triggered to go to the hospital.  I could not cancel this action.  For the future, babies may be born at either the "Home" lot, or the hospital, despite the daytime restrictions for community lots.

Ella gave birth to a boy, named Harley.  He automatically received the traits:  Loves the Outdoors, and Absent Minded.

Chapter 2: Why Ella Glows

This Chapter Begins with a before dawn fishing expedition.  They caught a lot of fish in just a few hours.

Eventually they moved to a fishing hole lot, and did a little more fishing there, before deciding to sleep for the rest of the day.  Unfortunately Devin's fair skin stood no chance, and he got sunburned by the time they woke up.  

When they woke, it was after dark, and they headed to the grocery store to sell their fish.  The day's earnings were $221, bringing their account up to $321.

 Later on the couple ate dinner for 2 at the local diner, $36, and took some refreshing showers at the local gym.

Then I spent $220 on the one tent that came with Island Paradise.  Hear Ella picks it up.

Meanwhile, Devin heads to the local library and reads some from a charisma book.  Unfortunately he needs to leave before dawn, and before finishing the first chapter.

After picking up the tent, Ella heads to the community garden to pick some tomatoes.

When the sun comes up it's time to go fishing again.

Devin manages to find a couple of mushrooms too.

Later that day they went to a nearby unoccupied lot, and there was some romance between Devin and Ella.  Perfect time to test out the new tent.

That night Ella finds a ladybug.  It's not worth very much, but Ella heard the local alchemist will pay for samples.

After selling their items, the family now has $394.  Devin was so happy he decided to make some hotdogs.

After their meal, Ella decides to play some chess.

Meanwhile Devin heads to the library.  He had to use the toilet there, then it clogged, so he pulled out his plunger, don't ask from where, and repaired the situation.  It wasn't enough yet to give him a mechanical skillpoint.

Afterwards, Devin heads to the bookshelf to finish that charisma book chapter.  He now has 1 charisma skill point.

After her chess game, Ella was walking around town, when she noticed a household's trash bin.  "That ought to have some interesting things inside it", she thought.

Fortunately no one inside the house noticed her.  She found 2 units of trash, an old newspaper, a fowl quality Bumbleleaf herb, and 30 units of scrap worth $60.  She is, however, very much in need of a shower again.  And she's feeling a little queasy too.

Later on they went back out for another early morning fishing expedition

 Later that morning, at a campfire breakfast, Ella has an announcement to make, She's pregnant!

Later they both went to sleep in the tent, ready to start the next day.
