Chapter 13- Springtime

After Opening the game, I got the notice that Princess Lynn, and Princess Celia are both Teenagers.  Below is Princess Celia in her royal gown.

The young family wakes in the park, and young Harley warms himself by the campfire.

Then Devin makes breakfast while Harley practices more with his Guitar.

After eating, Devin and Ella go to the river to fish, while Harley stays in the park with his guitar.

At 6am it is apparently too early for young teens to be away from home because the police showed up just after his parents left the park to take him "Home."

Later that day Devin goes to the consignment store to sell the fish that he and Ella caught earlier.  One benefit of no longer being an outlaw is they can now enter this lot during the consignment store's hours of operation.  He'll be able to make a lot more money off his fish now.

After school Harley plays some guitar in the town Art Museum.

Devin's earlier consigned goods sell, so now he has enough money to buy himself a Bass.  They have $569 left over.

Harley is getting pretty good at his guitar.  He already has a little following.

Devin spends the rest of the day fishing.  It is finally Spring, and the snow has melted.

Later on they go to McCafferty's Pub.

Devin makes time to do his homework.  He wants to get good grades.

Finally some more of their consigned goods sell, and they have enough money to buy Ella a piano, which she is somehow able to carry with her wherever she goes.

Now that all of the family have instruments, I'll pause the blog and continue when Harley is a little closer to adulthood.  I'll have them practice their music, and form a Band.  Maybe Harley will even find a Girlfriend.  When we continue, My goal is to have atleast one of them reach level 10 in their instrument's skill, and to make enough money with the instrument to top the Self-Employment Band Profession.

Chapter 12- Harley finds his Muse

The morning after bribing the city officials, and getting the warrant for his arrest "accidentally" destroyed, Devin wakes with a fresh mood.  He feels hopeful now for his family's future.

Allowed on community lots during the daytime now, he can finally visit the consignment store during it's hours of operation.  While there he buys Harley a present.  A brand new Guitar would cost $600, but Devin finds one on Consignment for $299.

That day Harley has a Snow Day, so he begins practicing his guitar.

After buying the Guitar. the family only has 18 dollars, so Devin goes fishing and catches $79 worth of fish, then the family is able to eat lunch at the diner for $36.

After eating Devin and Ella go back to the riverside to catch some more fish.

Meanwhile Harley practices his Guitar some more.

Harley enjoys having the freedom to go to the library during daylight to read a book, and not looking over his shoulder the whole time.

Devin and Ella, too, enjoy socializing freely with bar patrons, and not worrying about being turned in by any of them.

Harley earns his second Guitar skill point, while his mom plays chess.  She needs to stay on the lot with him because it is after dark.

Meanwhile Devin goes fishing again.  He's hoping to earn enough money soon to buy another new instrument for himself, seeing how much his son likes his.

Later that night Harley and Ella join Devin by the river.  They're not used to staying up all day and sleeping all night yet.  Devin has mastered his Fishing Skill, and can now catch some really valuable fish.

The family has a quick meal at the park.

And then they decide to go to the Library to sleep till morning, because now they don't have to leave when the sun comes up.

Later that morning, Devin goes to the grocery store to sell his fish.  The family now has $1,331.

The chapter ends with another nap in the park.
