Chapter 21 - Maria's Toddler Years Arrive

Harley and his parents continue to play their music, earning what tips they can.

Regan goes to the city hall to register for the Self-Employed Band Career, but Harley still doesn't think she should bring the baby to the underground where they play.  He says it's too dangerous, so she will continue to play at the inn, taking care of the baby as she does it.

Some news reached her ears while she was playing.  Princess Lynne is now engaged to her baby's father, Richie Burb.  Unless the king produces a boy child, Richie Burb is likely to be the next King.   His traits are: Loner, Neurotic, Clumsy, Vehicle Enthusiast, and Eccentric.  He is in the Professional Sports career, level 2.  And Princess Stacy, the daughter of Princess Lynne and Richie Burb, is now a Toddler.

Harley and Ella rush off to play guitar in the underground, for more tips.  Harley is level 8 in the Band Career now, and lots of people have heard about his musical talents.

Devin turns ages into an elder that evening.  So does Queen Clarissa.  Princess Windy ages into a Young Adult.  

When Ella Aged up into an elder, I gave her a makeover right away.  She is now level 8 Band Career too.

Regan continues to practice her guitar, listening to the gossip as she plays.

But her favorite task is to take care of little Maria, who is getting older every day.

She soon became a Toddler, and with beautiful blond hair, she's a favorite of all the inn patrons.

Harley bought a toy for her from a traveling salesman.  He said it was a "red wagon with no horses" from the future.  Harley laughed at the man's story, but thought since it's for a child, she won't care how silly it sounds.

Later that evening I gave Devin his makeover.  

One fault to living in an inn is that, when things break down, you still have to fix them.

The next day, Regan decided to teach Maria to Talk.  It cut into her guitar time, but she didn't care.

Devin putting his granddaughter maria to bed that night.  That day Devin had achieved level 8 Band Career.

Latest Gossip:  King Kenrick is an Elder.  Richie Burb and Princess Lynne Got married in a very big wedding.  I used Edit Town to move Richie Burb in to the castle because he didn't via story progression.  I also moved Princess Windy in with her sister, Princess Clelia, whose Husband had since divorced her, and had moved out of the home.

Chapter 20 - Maria's Birth

At long last, we are up and running again.  I increased our graphics settings, and I hope the pictures are better.  I know it looks a lot better in my game.  

Regan is pregnant, and I couldn't stand her maternity outfit, so I changed her into something more period appropriate.

She continues to play her guitar during the day, building her skill little by little.

Meanwhile Harley and the rest of the family go to the Subway to play for the bigger crowds.  Harley has earned level 7 Band career.  His parents are still at level 6.

Today, Regan noticed an elf child with the worst outfit, so she, and the powers that be, me via NRAAS Master Controller, had her change her outfit to a cuter one.

Regan plays so well she earns guitar skill level 6.

When Harley got home that day he was not feeling well, and eager to get a good nights rest.

Unfortunately, as luck would have it, Regan went into labor that very evening.  The whole inn was in an uproar.

Harley decided to take her to the Healers.  While there, one of the Alchemists sold Harley a "miracle solution" to take care of his fever.  Harley was doubtful, but Regan insisted that he try it so he'd be well enough to raise their child.  It cost them $200.

Regan had a baby girl, they named her Maria.  When she got to hold the baby an older woman asked her what she'd like for her child.  Regan just said "I want her to have a good heart, and to love her father's music." With a smile, the woman waved a hand over the child, and she now has the traits:  Good, and Virtuoso.

Regan put Maria to bed in the inn.  She's not sure that she has what it takes to be a mother.  She never thought she'd be good with kids, but she loves Maria, and is going to try very hard to be the best mother she knows how to be.

You know you're getting old when your Paparazzi are hobbling around on a cane, and they still get their money shots.

The next morning, Devin is so excited to see his Granddaughter, that he doesn't wait for her parent's to wake up, before sneaking into the room to hold her.

Harley stops to play a little guitar with his wife, before running off to earn the big tips.

Regan worried that it would be harder for her to practice while taking care of the baby, but she found that the crowds of people came upstairs just to hear her play.

She did have to step away every once in a while to take care of Maria, but it wasn't so hard after all.

Princess Celia Eames even stopped by to listen to her play.  It was then that she learned that Princess Celia and Liam Eames had a divorce, though they still live together.  If he dresses like that, I don't blame her.

I resisted it a while, but had to change his pants.   Regan got to Guitar skill level 7.

Devin was mugged today, and he lost $228.  Ella did a lot better, and earned Band Career level 7, and the Money Maker Skill Challenge.

Unfortunately, Maria started to cry and an inn patron decided to intervene.  Regan was upset, and insisted it would never happen again.
